Consular Services - Legalisations
Legalization of documents can be performed at:
- The Consulate General of Peru in Sydney
- The Consular Section of the Embassy of Peru in Canberra
- The Honorary Consulate of Peru in Melbourne
- The Honorary Consulate of Peru in Brisbane
The service of legalization does not apply to the content of a document, but only to the official signatures such as those of Notary Publics or representatives of Chambers of Commerce.
Prior to be submitted to the Consular offices, documents need to be legalized first by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
If sending the documents by post, please attach a stamped self addressed envelope and a simple copy of the document.
Documents containing the signature of an individual Australian authority (e.g. DFAT representative) AU$ 48.00. Documents related to legal entities (e.g. company or institution) AU$ 128.00.

Fees can be paid by check or money order.
